Your journal stays with you
Your pouch history, check-ins, notes, saved products and settings are stored on your iPhone in the app’s private storage. There is no Pouchlet account, advertising SDK or analytics SDK. We do not receive your journal or use it to train AI. The app’s widget and Live Activity use the same local records.
When you look up a product
The included catalog and barcode matching work on your device. When you choose online research, the app contacts velo.com or minprilla.se to fetch product information. Your product search may be sent to Minprilla. These sites receive normal connection information, such as your IP address and the requested address, and may keep their own server logs under their policies. Your pouch history, check-ins and notes are not included in these requests.
Your camera
Camera access is used to read a product barcode. Camera frames are processed on your iPhone, are not saved by Pouchlet and are not uploaded. You can enter the product details instead. A scan identifies a possible product; you confirm the product and strength before logging.
Backups and sharing
Exports contain personal history and notes. They leave the app only when you save or share them using the system share sheet. The app does not encrypt exported files itself, so choose a storage location you trust. Your iPhone’s backup service may also include app data, depending on your device settings. Storage providers and people you share with then control their copies.
Keeping and deleting your data
The app keeps records until you delete them. It also keeps a previous saved version, a copy from before the latest full restore, and preserved files if recovery was needed. Settings → Your data → Delete all data removes your records, saved products, settings and those local recovery copies. Copies you exported, device backups and anything you sent by email are separate; delete those at their destination if you want them removed too.
Earlier Apple Health records
From version 2.14, Pouchlet no longer reads or writes Apple Health. Old backups cannot turn Health sync back on. Caffeine records written by older versions remain in Apple Health; they are not changed by restoring or deleting Pouchlet data. Review or delete those records in the Health app. Old operations that had not finished are no longer sent.
Support and website links
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send. We use it to answer and investigate your request. No journal, screenshot or diagnostic attachment is added automatically. You can ask us to delete your support correspondence. Opening a website from the app shares normal browser connection information with that site. Our public help pages are hosted by Cloudflare, which processes requests to serve them; we have not added advertising or analytics scripts.
Who the app is for
Pouchlet is for adults who already use nicotine pouches. It is not intended for children and does not sell nicotine products. The chart is an estimate, not a blood test or a personal safe limit.
